I'm experimenting with Facebook commenting. Hope this works :D Adding it to every page from now on. Hmm.
This is going to be concise. While undoubtedly Evolve has a slicker UI with svelte colours, more options and all the bells and whistles, it is not that good at what it should be most concerned about - bandwidth stability. Massive latency issues (or, crazy lag and delays) from both ends, especially that of my friend in Finland. A pretty blade that shatters or is dull doen't work, no matter how ornate it is. Hamachi is like a fruit knife compared to the ornamental blade that is Evolve. Small, light, unimposing and simple, but does what it is asked. Sorry Evolve, but not today. I might give this another thought next time, but for now, Hamachi wins.

More LAN gaming options!
So the other day I talked to my friends at length about VPN options for LAN gaming and private networking, and how I use Hamachi for my LAN ventures. My friend suggested Evolve, and like any other reputable person I am eager to try it out. Hamachi has been good enough for me, but my friend in Finland is having latency problems, and massive delays if online matchmaking is involved. Furthermore, we failed to deal with our Age of Mythology LAN issues, so why not? I'm a big fan of old school LAN games, and it won't hurt to try.
